Meet Itay: Athlete of the Month

Itay likes hockey because of the activity and the amount of skating he gets to do. He loves getting to meet new people and make great friends. He still remembers the first time he scored in a game after someone made an attempt that was saved by the goalie, it left Itay with a rebound opportunity that he recalls as very exciting.

Now his favourite part of the sport is the games he gets to play and winning. He believes you should stay active for your physical and mental health. Itay even shared with us that if he never played hockey, he would be less confident in things and bored most weekends. He has been playing since he was 6 years old and chose the sport because he likes cold environments and going fast on the ice.
