A4K Partner Organization Code of Conduct

Welcome to the Athletics4Kids family! We’re so excited that you’re joining our mission to give every child the chance to play.

As a program provider, you play a crucial role in supporting families and giving youth the opportunity to participate in organized sports, so we ask that all sports program partners who access Sport4Life grants through participants read and agree to the following Partner Code of Conduct. 

As a Program Partner, you agree to:

  1. Make every effort to provide a safe environment that is free from abuse, harassment, and violence and prioritizes the welfare, safety, and rights of every participant always within operations and activities related to athletics, including but not limited to training and competition

  2. Have commercially standard insurance applicable to your sports program offerings and activities

  3. Reimburse the participant or their family the full amount granted by Athletics4Kids if the participant or family makes or has made payment to the sports organization for services covered by the funding provided by Athletics4Kids

  4. Promptly notify Athletics4Kids if the funded individual's participation in your program is discontinued or if any changes occur within the program that could potentially impact Athletics4Kids funding

  5. Promptly notify Athletics4Kids if you learn that the Athletics4Kids funded individual is unable to attend the program or does not participate in the program at all

  6.  Provide the appropriate refund of registration fees to Athletics4Kids should the funded individual discontinue their participation in the program for any reason

Programming:

As a Program Partner, you agree that your program is:

  1. Eligible for a Sport4Life grant in that it appears on Athletics4Kids’ list of approved eligible sports

  2. Led by a qualified coach who has received the necessary training to deliver your sports program and establish controls that are suitable for the age, ability, and experience of all participants

Athletics4Kids retains the full discretion to continue to partner only with those organizations that comply with this Code of Conduct.

Athletics4Kids may choose not to approve any program that does not align with the above criteria and may discontinue a relationship with a partner if there is evidence of non-compliance with the Code of Conduct.

Athletics4Kids may terminate any partner relationship at its discretion and without prior notice.
